THE SOCIETY’S SILVER CHALLENGE CUP (25) together with the SOCIETY’S SPECIAL PRIZE OF £75 will be awarded to the Champion Cow or Heifer and £25 to the Reserve Champion, first and second prize winners in Classes 75-78 to compete.

In Classes 80-81 all entries to be weighed on arrival, and no later than 9am; the lightest 50% will be judged in Class 80, the heaviest 50% will be judged in Class 81.

In classes 82-83 all entries to be weighed on arrival, and no later than 9am; the lightest 50% will be judged in Class 82, and the heaviest 50% will be judged in Class 83.

THE A H LOVELL SILVER CHALLENGE CUP (27) together with the SOCIETY’S SPECIAL PRIZE OF £100 will be awarded to the Best Beef Type Animal from Classes 80-83.
THE FRANK ELKINGTON CHALLENGE CUP (28) will be awarded to the Best Beef Animal of the opposite sex to the Champion.
The stockman of these two animals will receive a tankard each, which will become their own property, fresh ones being kindly presented annually in memory of the Peckover Brothers.
Class 84
Best Beef Type Suckling Cow with calf at foot, pedigree or non-pedigree.

THE F W PHIPPS SILVER CHALLENGE CUP (29) will be awarded to the Best Exhibit from Class 85.
THE SOCIETY’S SILVER CHALLENGE CUP (30) for the Best Local Exhibit from Classes 80-3 and 85, shown by an Exhibitor residing within 15 miles of Blakesley Church.
YOUNG HANDLER - BEEF 2025

THE SOUTH DEVON HERD BOOK SOCIETY kindly presents a Sash to the South Devon Champion.

The Champion of the Commercial Beef, South Devon, and Other Native and Continental Breed sections will be eligible to compete. The Reserve Champion of the Champion’s section will then join the remaining Breed Champions to compete for the Reserve Best Beef Animal in Show.
