What are the benefits of becoming a member of Blakesley Show?
Members will receive a Members Badge as well as a guest pass to the show, this also entitiles the Member to parking in the closer "Members's Parking" area. Also admission to the Member´s marquee where tea and coffee are available. Members also benefit from reduced entry fees for all classes.
There is an annual Farm Walk where members get the opportunity to visit a farming related venue. Recent Farm Walks have been held at Moulton College and Heygates Flour Mill.
How do I become a Member?
To become a Member, head to our "Exhibitors & Forms" page and print out the downloadable Membership Form and send it to the address and contact details on the form. Payment details are also present on there.
How do I enter classes at Blakesley Show?
Entry forms can be downloaded from the "Exhibitors & Forms" page of the website.
Can I enter classes on the day?
Where classes are not oversubscribed, entries are accepted for all Horse & Pony classes on the day, but there is a £5 surcharge (Inc VAT) for each class entered, with the exception of Unaffiliated Showjumping and Unaffiliated Showing Classes; where no additional fee applies.
Will there be a Farrier available at the Show?
A farrier will be available on Show day. Please ask in the Secretary´s tent or speak to one of the pony Stewards if you need to locate the farrier.
Do cattle need a 60 day pre- or post-movement TB test certificate to enter?
As Blakesley Show is a one day Show there is currently no requirement by DEFRA for 60 day pre- or post-movement testing, but all cattle must have a BCMS passport, details of which will be recorded on arrival and departure.

What is average attendance of the Show?

Are charity stands available?
Charity stands can be booked at 4m frontage, at £25 per stand. (Inclusive of VAT)
Is electricity provided?
Power will not be available to the trade stands, and we ask that any generators used will be of a quiet nature. Thankyou.
Is water available to Trade Stands?
The are water facilities located at various points across the show, bring a container to transport to your Trade Stand as there are no hoses.
Can I mow the grass on my site?
Yes, but any grass mown must be collected and put into a provided grass trailer near the main marquee prior to Show Day. No mowing service is currently provided.
Is there security overnight?
No overnight security is provided.
What is Depth of stands?
Stand depth varies from 5m to 20m, please state requirements when submitting application. Any further Exhibiting questions please see our Contact section.
What is the earliest I can set up my stand?
From Thursday 30th July in the afternoon unless prior arrangements have been made. All stands must be ready for trade from 8:30am show day, and public aisles cleared of vehicles.
When is the earliest I can take down my stand?
From 5:30pm onwards. Anything left at the show overnight will be left at the site trader´s risk.
How many entry tickets are given for each site?
Two tickets are provided which is included in the exhibiting fee, any extra tickets can be purchased from the Trade Secretary at £8 per ticket. (Inclusive of VAT)
When do exhibitors need to pay?
At the time of application unless prior arrangements have been made.
Are dogs welcome at the Show?
Most certainly! Although we do ask that they are behaved and kept on a lead.
